IT Security Engineer

Location: Office on Skanstes iela, Riga. Help with relocation (documents, tickets, accommodation).
Due the growth the company is looking for IT Security Engineer with experience in InfoSec and systems/network administration and a passion for cyber security.
Responsibilities:
Manage security stack (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DLP, SIEM, AV/XDR, IAM, PAM CNAPP);
Secure on-premises infrastructure as well as the Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI);
Conducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessment and internal audits;
Participate in security incident and vulnerability management;
Participate in security compliance efforts;
Work with DevOps and development teams to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities in our infrastructure/products;
Maintain up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines;
Provide training and guidance to staff on information security best practices;
Stay up to date with the latest information security trends and threats and implement appropriate security controls.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience (with at least 2 years in an information security position);
Fluency in English and Latvian (reading/speaking/writing), and good understanding of Russian;
Experience with network, desktop/server operating system, database, application, identity, and e-mail security;
Great knowledge of enterprise Windows/macOS security management (e.g., AD, GPO, SCCM, M365);
Experience with Windows / Linux server administration;
Good understanding of modern IT and Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) technologies;
Knowledge of encryption technologies & protocols;
Understanding of authentication/authorisation protocols (Kerberos, SAML, oAuth, OIDC);
High sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, good analytical skills.
Will be considered as advantage:
Scripting (PowerShell, Python) and secure coding (OWASP, API Security) skills;
DevSecOps experience;
Experience with web applications penetration tests;
Experience with security technologies, frameworks, and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS;
Network+, Security+, CISM, CISA, CEH, CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent certification.

Salary range from 2500 till 4500 EUR gross (1765 – 3130 EUR net), depending on experience and skills.
