JAVA/KOTLIN developer

IT Camp client is the fastest-growing online consumer lending company in Europe, with headquarters in Riga, Latvia. The company uses the latest technologies to ensure instant consumer identification and scoring.

There are working 116 people in Riga office, from which 54 people are IT department.
Office on Skanstes iela, Riga.

Due to the new platform development and upgrade we are looking for Senior Java / Kotlin developers, who will stand at the origins of new technology stack implementation.

Project: a platform for online lending business, made on microservices architecture.

Technology stack for the new platform: Java 11+ / Kotlin / Spring / Hibernate / PostgreSQL / Docker / Git / Linux

As a backend developer You will

  • Help identify areas of improvement in the codebase and help contribute to making it better;
  • Be able to build platform based on Microservices architecture;
  • Get a very good onboarding process (from a technical and domain perspective). If you don’t know anything about finances you will have a chance to learn it;
  • Be able to work with the list of modern services like payment systems, credit bureaus, fraud systems, AWS services, etc;
  • Be able to use your previous experience and offer something new – we are open to new ideas.

Requirements

  • Experience with Java 11+, SPRING + Spring-boot (MVC,JAP,SECURITY,REST), JUnit, Web Services (SOAP);
  • Kotlin;
  • Experience with Hibernate, SpringData;
  • Log and Monitoring tools – Kibana, Grafana;
  • Databases PostgreSQL;
  • Search Engine (Elastic search);
  • Experience with: Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ;
  • Experience with: Docker, Git, Linux; CI tools: CircleCI;
  • Understanding of design principles and patterns, and Domain Driven Design;
  • Experience with Microservices;
  • Understanding of: REST, SOAP and etc;
  • Good English and Russian languages (both – written and spoken).
