Java Software Engineer (Machine Learning) for Swisscom

The Product: Development of comprehensive end-to-end solutions encompassing frontend, backend, and machine learning – Be part of a Team developing E2E strategy product helping Swisscom stability. Together we bring light into the darkness and have a lasting impact on the availability of the most important Swisscom business processes. Freedom and room for maneuver for own solutions and implementation.

Requirements:
Backend Developer (Spring Boot, Spring) along with extensive experience in designing and implementing Microservices architectures;
– Proficient in Kafka for developing Event-Driven architectures, as well as extensive experience in developing REST APIs;
– Deep understanding of Big Data technologies and frameworks (Spark, Kafka, or Flink);
– Experience in programming streaming pipelines and real-time data processing;
– Working knowledge with SQL or NoSQL (Mongo, Elastic) databases;
– Machine learning and AWS Knowledge is a plus;
– Results-driven collaborator and open communicator, happy to share knowledge and learn from others. Enthusiastic and flexible self-starter;
– Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and pronounced Agile mindset;
– Very good English (both written and spoken);
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience in software development or infrastructure is a plus.

– Salary from 3300 to 6400 EUR gross (depending on experience);
