PHP developer – FinTech (relocation possible)

IT Camp client is the fastest-growing online consumer lending and FinTech company in Europe, with headquarters in Riga, Latvia. The company uses the latest technologies to ensure instant consumer identification and scoring.

Team: IT team consists of 80+ professionals across 8 different teams, working with 10+ products. Team that is led by seasoned professionals who not only look after their business but also take good care of their colleagues. A team in which every piece of the puzzle matters.
Location: Office on Skanstes iela, Riga. Help with relocation (documents, tickets, accommodation).

Technology stack: PHP, Symfony / Zend, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Docker, DDD

Due the growth of the company are looking for PHP developer.

Job mission:
Be a part of international engineering department and support number of products in European countries. Actively participate in company’s new development and support your team with finding the best problem solutions in alignment to company’s standards.
Responsibilities:
– To develop and support the main business solutions;
– You will use your hands-on experience and can-do attitudes to solve complex problems;
– You will get busy with the end-to-end lifecycle of features, from concept to deployment;
– To contribute to technical decision-making;
– You will be involved in new development and refactoring old code.
Requirements:
– 4+ years of PHP backend experience;
– Experience with frameworks Symfony / Zend etc;
– Object-oriented application building experience;
– Understanding of software design principles and patterns (SOLID, GoF, etc.);
– Ability to perform code reviews;
– Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
– Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySql, Redis;
– Experience with Docker;
– Good conversational English.

Will be considered as advantage:
– Experience with FinTech products;
– Understanding in DDD domain driven design;
– Experience with RabbitMQ.
