The Product: new team in Latvian office.
Responsibilities:
– Designing, developing, and deploying our product, following the processes and the technical architecture
– Writing robust, reusable, and efficient code that conforms to current best practices and industry standards
– Creating and keeping up-to-date documentation
– 3rd Level Support for bug identification and fixing
– Working closely with Development, Operations, Architects and Security teams to provide an optimal solution for our customers
– Developing and deploying product source code in Test & Prod environments effectively
– Monitoring and managing application performance and quality of service, including initial troubleshooting, root cause identification and issue resolution
– Organizing and optimizing the software development lifecycle to improve efficiency, deployment speed and code quality
– Ensuring solution-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, integrity and compliance with overall enterprise principles, policies, and standards
Requirements:
– Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
– Experience in software development and the design of extensive applications/software systems
– Have a deep understanding of business requirements, and how to best build the required application components
– Proven experience in troubleshooting, incident management, problem management
– Proven and strong experience in development of frontend and API/backend development, relational databases (i.e. MariaDB, MySQL), Git, CI/CD pipelines
– Proven experience with React or Next.js
– Experience with TypeScript is highly preferred
– Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Splunk is a plus
– Very good written and spoken English
