We are looking for experienced web engineers rather than experts in a particular programming language. If you have a strong background building production web applications, you'll be able to ramp up quickly with our technologies. You'll work inside an AI-powered software factory where AI agents accelerate development, while engineers focus on architecture, problem-solving, code quality, and delivering reliable production systems. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Agentic Workflows and AI-native software engineering while building enterprise products used by global customers. We are open to engineers from any programming language background, provided they have strong experience building production web applications.

Current Product Stack: TypeScript, NestJS, React, React Native, PostgreSQL, Docker, AI Agentic Workflows, LLMs. Previous experience with this exact stack is not required.
Team: international startup team with experienced founders, strong engineering culture, cutting-edge AI development practices, and top-tier product expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Build and ship product in an agent-driven workflow (NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Docker), steering agents and reviewing their output.
• Harden systems built on top of LLMs: schema enforcement, validation, graceful degradation, and knowing exactly where things break.
• Use your engineering experience to raise the bar on code quality, tools, and processes for the whole team.
• Work across a shared TypeScript codebase with our frontend and mobile teams.

Requirements:

• Solid full-stack or backend fundamentals -- several years shipping production software.
• AI-pilled, genuinely. Your instinct is to hand work to agents first, and you want to turn over as much as possible to AI in your own workflow and in the product. You have the judgment to know when it worked.
• A deep-seated need to ship. We win by outshipping everyone, and we hire engineers who treat blockers as things to solve, not things to wait on.
• Ownership by default. No one here is just on a team -- everyone owns and leads something, and you should want that.
• Strong web development experience with at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Kotlin, C#, PHP, Python, Go, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript. We care far more about transferable engineering fundamentals than experience with a specific technology stack.
• Solid understanding of web application development, including HTTP, REST APIs, authentication, relational databases, application architecture, and production deployment.
• Experience with relational databases and containerized web applications. PostgreSQL and Docker / Docker Compose are used in our current environment.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, and genuine enjoyment of working alongside a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript / Node.js is a plus, but not required. You should be willing to learn and work with our TypeScript-based product stack.
• Experience with React / React Native.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant data and row-level security (RLS).
• Experience building or hardening systems on top of third-party APIs and LLMs.
