We are looking for a Senior Backend developer with Python to be part of our team developing payment gateways.
Responsibilities:
- Integrations with 3rd party systems: Develop and implement integrations with various external payment providers, supporting different payment types, scenarios.
- Scalable API Development: Create and optimize RESTful APIs to handle payment flows and ensure seamless communication between services.
- Testing and Validation: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and robustness. Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues in production and development environments.
- Code Quality and Collaboration: Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that is reviewed and accepted by the team.
- Documentation: Provide complete documentation for APIs, workflows, and integration guides.
- Task Estimation and Delivery: Evaluate tasks, estimate timeframes accurately, and deliver them within deadlines.
Experience with Backend deveopment 5y+, Python 3y+
Knowledge and skills:
- Microservices
- Event-Driven Development
- API integrations (with Payment Gateways is a way better)
- Basic Cryptography & Security practices
- Writing and managing Python Packages / SDKs
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD
- Logging best practices (especially in distributed systems)
- Previous experience with payment method integrations will be considered as an advantage
