Location: on-site in Latvian or Bulgarian office or fully remote job.

This role is with the ARRISE group powering Pragmatic Play. Due the growth of the company is looking for Senior Database Developer.
Responsibilities:
— Designing, coding and implementing software solutions using modern techniques and SQL, based on the research and innovation at all levels of the software development process.
— High-level database development assistance in creating specific applications for businesses.
— To support on information technology to design, develop, execute, and maintain the database application systems, applying several RDBMS.
— To ensure that the delivery of software solutions is completed in time as planned, within the budget been set.
— To participate in multiple projects simultaneously and to work in a cross-functional team (managers, business analysts, network staff and other developers);
— To provide excellent customer service by responding to and assisting with help desk calls to resolving issues, including system outages.
— To be a mentor for Junior level colleagues.
Requirements:
— 5+ years of PostgreSQL development experience and fundamental knowledge of database administration.
— Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding, as well as with API.
— Query performance analyzing and tuning.
— Experience with very large databases and high loaded OLTP systems.
— Shredding, changing and understanding older code without the need to know everything about a business process.
— Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
— Quick understanding, ability to work under pressure and on several tasks in parallel.
— English language knowledge (reading/writing/speaking) — min Intermediate level.
Will be considered as advantage:
— Oracle SQL, PL/SQLL development experience.
— Experience with migrating schemas and data from Oracle to other RDBMS.
— Familiarity with design, development, and maintenance of reporting.
— Experience with data warehouse databases.
— Experience with Amazon Redshift, RDS, Aurora.
